From Cleanouts to Curated Finds

We clear out properties with care and bring unique treasures to our Shoppable Warehouse — open the 3rd weekend of every month in downtown Janesville, WI.

Our passion is to help people downsize. We can make your extra clutter go away in one full swoop. Full estate, barn, garage, outbuilding, basement, attic, storage unit – we’ve got you covered! No job is too big or too small!

Our Monthly Warehouse Sales

Our warehouse is only open once a month — and every sale brings something new. Each cleanout we do fills our space with fresh furniture, décor, vintage goods, and one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t find anywhere else.

See the Transformations

We help families and property owners by handling the tough job of full cleanouts. From cluttered homes to cleared, ready-to-sell spaces, our team makes the process stress-free.

“Property Pickers took care of everything! They were professional, quick, and respectful. I couldn’t believe the difference.”

A Little About Us

Meet Jimmy Vintage

Hi, I’m James Flister—but around here, most people know me as Jimmy Vintage.

I’m a lifelong Janesville guy (Parker High School, Class of ’95) with a passion for old things, creative spaces, and the people who bring them to life.

I’ve always believed that vintage is about so much more than antiques. Every piece has a story, every small business has a dream, and every community is stronger when people lift each other up.

My path here wasn’t a straight line. Like many people, I worked a variety of jobs before finding the work I was truly meant to do. Looking back, every stop along the way taught me something valuable. Those experiences shaped the way I think about business, creativity, leadership, and serving others.

In 2012, I took a leap of faith and opened an antique mall with a different vision. Instead of focusing only on the merchandise, I wanted to celebrate the people behind the booths. I helped vendors build their brands through marketing, websites, photography, social media, and creative design because I believed that when our vendors succeed, our entire community succeeds.

That vision continues to guide everything we do today.

Over the years, we’ve grown into multiple businesses, including vintage malls, outdoor markets, U-Haul dealerships, Property Pickers, and estate clean-out services. While each business is unique, they all share the same purpose: creating places where people feel welcome, supported, and inspired.

At heart, I’m still an artist.

My canvas just looks a little different these days.

Sometimes it’s designing a beautiful vintage mall booth. Sometimes it’s transforming a storefront into a destination worth visiting. Other times it’s building a perennial garden around a rusty old pickup truck, creating a stage for live music, organizing a Vintage & Makers Market, or designing a marketing campaign that helps someone else’s business shine.

Creating experiences that bring people together is what I love most.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me in the woods. Bowhunting has always been my place to slow down, recharge, and appreciate God’s creation. There’s something about the quiet, the fresh air, and a winding creek that puts everything back into perspective.

People > Stuff

If there’s one thing I hope people remember about our businesses, it’s this:

People > Stuff.

Those two words weren’t created as a marketing slogan—they came from a moment I’ll never forget.

After an estate clean-out, I was getting ready to leave when I realized two members of our team were missing. I found them sitting on the floor of an empty living room beside the homeowner. The electricity had already been shut off, and she was preparing to leave the family home that had been in her family for over 150 years. She didn’t need help moving furniture anymore. She simply needed someone to sit with her. My teammates laughed with her, cried with her, and gave her the time she needed before saying goodbye to a lifetime of memories.

That moment became our foundation.

It reminded us that while we work with antiques, vintage treasures, and estate clean-outs, our real purpose has always been serving people. Everything else becomes second.

Whether you’re shopping one of our stores, attending one of our markets, scheduling a clean-out, renting a U-Haul, or simply stopping in to say hello, I hope you leave feeling like you mattered.

Because that’s what this has always been about.

Thanks for stopping by.

I hope we get the chance to meet someday.
